While Luck was a four-time Pro Bowl quarterback, he was nothing spectacular. He made ZERO All-NFL teams. If you’re really all that great you would have made an All-NFL team. He was never considered one of the top two or three quarterbacks in the NFL, he was only ‘supposed’ to be. This is not someone who got the most out of his career. For a guy who was considered the best quarterback prospect since John Elway when Luck came out of Stanford in 2012, Maller said Luck never accomplished any of the immaculate achievements that his biggest supporters were promising when he came into the league seven years ago.
Maller points out the fact that Luck never made an NFL All-Pro team, and was never considered one of the top two or three quarterbacks in the league in any particular season, even though his billing out of college would have surely predicted that.
