The Oklahoma City Thunder have secured their spot in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012, after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-94 on Wednesday night. The Thunder wrapped up the Western Conference Finals in five games, winning the series 4-1.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with an impressive 34 points, while Chet Holmgren contributed 22 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Jalen Williams added 19 points and eight rebounds, helping Oklahoma City dominate the game from start to finish. The Thunder took an early lead, opening the game on an 11-3 run and maintaining their advantage throughout the first quarter. By halftime, they led 65-32 and continued to extend their lead into the fourth quarter, finishing with a decisive 30-point victory.

The Timberwolves struggled against the Thunder's strong performance, shooting just 41.2% from the field and committing 21 turnovers. Julius Randle scored 24 points, and Anthony Edwards added 19 for Minnesota, but it wasn't enough to overcome Oklahoma City's dominance.

The Thunder will face either the Indiana Pacers or the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals, with Indiana currently leading the Eastern Conference Finals 3-1. Oklahoma City will have home-court advantage when the Finals begin on June 5, thanks to their league-best 68-14 regular-season record.
