DP is already sold on their greatness, but with their methodical style and lack of star power, he wonders what it will take for them to be included in the conversation of greatest teams in NBA history.
Dan Patrick: “How do we, I don't want to say shoehorn, that's not fair, but to kind of put them in the conversation of this two-year run for OKC. And if they do win back-to-back titles, and they do it in an impressive manner of not losing many games, we might begrudgingly put them in there. And they're going to have a San Antonio Spurs feel to them, because not exciting, not big market, even their best player is great, but not exciting, not a highlight. But still, they are just methodical. They know what to do. They know how to do it. And it doesn't feel like there's any ebbs and flows, like it's just a straight line of greatness here.”
